The cutest gift!

I received the cutest gift ever yesterday! Kim Roberts (a fantastic member of my downline!!) sent me this VERY thoughtful gift. It is a mini photo album of pictures of me and my trip to St. George Utah for Founder's Circle! I just love it. I have no idea how she got the pictures but I was just squealing with delight! The book is made from chipboard using the Top Note Bigz die cut and the Big Shot machine. The YUMMY paper is Bella Rose DSP. The stamp set is Bella Blossoms and was cut out and popped up! It went right into my purse so I can show it off to everyone!

Snowy White Chunky Glitter

Country Living Holiday Collection

Last night I just flopped down in front of the fire. (It is a REAL fire for those of you in JAX). Well real with a real fire log as opposed to gas. AND it was cold. So I needed a fire to get warm. I enjoyed sitting there with my hot apple cider and just enjoying my handmade ornaments. I made these using the Country Living Holiday Collection. These were really quick and easy to make and the kids really love them. They always like it when they are featured! This kit is available for a limited time. I am just so thrilled with all that comes in the kit. You won't want to miss out!

Pretties!

I often think of my Pretties Kit as my candy jar. I stamped the snowflake from Winter Post and one from Scandinavian Season (Winter Mini). I used Baja Breeze ink and my Silver Encore Pad. I also used my PRETTIES kit to glue on some of my white half-back pearls. I finished it off with a piece of Baja Breeze Ribbon. (Note: try not to drop your candle--it ends badly...)

Reindeer Fun!

I can't get enough of my Winter post stamp set. This candle is going to be so fun to give away! (I have made another one for myself of course..) We used the Holiday Treasures DSP and 5/8 Chocolate Chip Grosgrain and Chocolate Chip Classic ink to stamp the reindeer and the tag. How did we ever LIVE before we had the designer label punch! It makes such elegant yet easy tags! This is one of the gifts we made at this month's Santa's Secret Workshop.

If you missed Santa's Secret Workshop you missed this!!

The elves have been here and have helped me to create some really fun gifts for the Holiday Season. Check out my calendar for next months stamp camp and stamping events!!

Heard from the Heart

Here is an altered clipboard. I had to hide it from my daughter because she wanted to have it for herself. As you can imagine I had other plans for it :) I have had a lot of fun with the Rainbow Sherbet DSP. It is just so funky fresh and FUN! I used the Heard from the Heart stamp set on the Top Note Bigz Die cut. Then I layered it on a piece of Tempting Turquoise cardstock and BAM a topper. Our large Cello bags sure do come in handy for these projects. They finish it off and give it a crisp polished look.

Naughty or Nice??

Here's my take on a bag of coal! I saw these black M&M's and I couldn't resist. I used a 2-4-6-8 box but cut it in half! Who wouldn't love a bag of M&M's?? I used the White Taffeta ribbon from my Country Living Holiday Collection Kit. That sure is the kit that keeps on giving! I keep finding more and more projects that use my yummy supplies. The new Large Oval punch was perfect for cutting a window into the box. The alphabet set here is ABC images. I used a white gel pen to make faux stitching and a white craft pad for the "coal".

Home "Alone"

This is a window into my world. When I leave for a workshop my husband and kids evidently go hog wild. I found lots of interesting pictures of the happenings in MY stamp room on MY camera when I returned home. Here are just 2 of my favorites... Notice the pictures are "self portraits" of one of my children... Oh, and Santa if you don't know our address-- you can find it below!

Season of Thanks!

Well yesterday was certainly a day to be Thankful! While driving on the beltway with the kids we had an ACCIDENT!! Thankfully none of us was hurt. I had to decide between hitting a car or a large object in the middle of the highway! I chose the object. It blew out my tire and I had to quickly get to the shoulder. I thought that my roadside assistance (USAA) would be there to help me out of the jam. No such luck. Thankfully--a kind tow truck driver just happened to stop and see if I needed help. Then he actually changed my tire for me right on the spot. I couldn't believe it. So I do indeed have a lot to be thankful for. I sure was a mess. I was just shaking like a leaf. My brain turned to mush at first! So. That brings me to my latest post- Season of Thanks Decor Elements. I made this display for my own home for the holidays. I used a fairly large shadow box and the large size Season of Thanks Decor Elements. Bailey and I really enjoyed decorating this box together. I think at Valentine's Day I am going to put some nice flowers inside! Thanks for stopping by! And remember that we all have so much to be greatful for this year. Regardless of our challenges, tribulations and problems --we are truly blessed. I am glad that we have this season to help us set aside time to remember how much we have to be thankful for.

Would you like to Crank Out Christmas?

I had a fantastic time last night with some ladies I have met here in Burke. We took some time to crank out Christmas! 16 cards in one night. Here they are: (Click on Pics for a bigger view)
WOW one ambitious stamper cranked out 32!!! We have gotten a jump on the Holidays. Lots more fun projects are on the way.
My cards were inspired by Kimberly Van Diepen, Ally Schilling & Joyce Feraco

Fun Fall Projects

Here are a few fun fall projects for you! I have done several of these this month at my Stamp Camp. We stamped on all kinds of things--tiles, candles coasters!! I broke out Punch Pals and made a Frosty Day Shaker card.
Some of my ideas this month were inspired by Kimberly Van Diepen and Robin Merriman.

Happy Birthday David!

Most of the birthdays in our family happen in a 2 week period. Today: It's my hubby's birthday! Can you believe he is still in his 30's?? So YES I DID rob him from the cradle... It sure is lonely on this side of 40. I decided to use some yummy designer series paper to wrap his gift! Bailey helped me with the tape and we put together this little gift. Shhh... the contents ARE secret! I hope Bailey will keep it to herself... For the card I used my Crazy for Cupcakes Stamp, A Little Birthday Cheer stamp set, Dazzling diamonds and a little bit of crystal effects for the cherries! Lastly for the paper I have Holiday Treasures, Old Olive and Baja Breeze. I do love making 3x3 gift cards because they are so quick! I have been saving all my scraps and cutting them into 3 inch strips. They are a perfect addition for these little gift cards.

If you missed Stamp Camp this month you missed this!

I have seen this technique before but making it in person was so much fun! I used the Upsy Daisy stamp set that I got at Convention. I have been making little tags for gifts with the Say It with Scallops stamp set. I LOVE stamping and then PUNCHING!! Those stamps fit perfectly in our new square scallop punch. Just adding that second layer really makes it pop out! This is one of the projects we made this month in my stamp camp. It was inspired by Robin Merriman!
I will be posting the other projects that you may have missed so stay tuned!

Decorative Tiles

Well this time of year I always enjoy making tiles for Holiday Decorating. I broke out my brand new Country Living Kit and started stampin! I love the snowflakes in this set. They remind me of my favorite retired snowflake set. For this project I used Night of Navy and Bordering Blue craft ink. I also used Silver Encore to give it a little more bling! I am having a lot of fun with the kit as they make it really easy to put together these ornaments. I will share that with you soon. Stay tuned!

Flitting By

I used the Flitting By Decor Elements to create this fun display for Bailey's Room. She was so excited when she came home from school and I had transformed her room! She is always so appreciative of my efforts. We do have a lot of fun stamping and creating together. It was fun to surprise her with this project. The Decor elements are very simple to apply and easy to work with. I am now working on another project which I will post at the end of the week. (Shhh. it's a Thanksgiving display for my house...)

If some is good, more must be better!

I decided to add some more flourishes to my decor elements. I discovered that just like stamping--you can "go off the edge". I used a craft knife to cut off the flourishes when I ran out of wall! I love seeing that Welcome banner each time I come into my house!

I will be showing you some other examples in the next few days. I am going to suprise Bailey with some bling on her wall. I can't wit to show you!!

Spooky!

I am getting into the Halloween spirit! I don't typically like Halloween. Since my kids are in elementary school I am starting to warm up to the holiday. I think one reason that I never liked halloween is that it is the same week as my birthday and well I don't really like my birthday either. Well at least there are fun projects to make to take my mind off of that!!
I have a few cards I received here from Kimberly Van Diepen and a swap card from Tami White from Founder's Circle. The paper bag album is one of my favorite projects ever! I love to scrapbook EVERY picture I take of my kids on Halloween. You know what I mean I know you do!
How do you like the spooky tree? I used chipboard and the Batty for You stamp set. Also a retired set called Booglie Eyes. My kids just love these sets. Well I am off to make Frankenstein treat bags for a neighborhood block party! Happy Haunting.

I got my Create Back!

Well I used to have a cute little Create sign on my wall in my stamp room but a few months ago it fell off and broke. I tried not to take as a sign of anything... SO when the Decor Elements came out and Create was one of them I knew I had to have that!! However with the move I couldn't put it up until now. So here is a look at my new stamp room! I was really excited about how this looks on the wall. It really looks like it was painted! These elements are really easy to put up. I am going to be putting up several more in my new home and I will share the results with you soon.

I hope your day is the sweetest Ever!!

I can't wait to send this card to my cousin. She turned 10 in September. Oops. Sure glad i have the "and I bet you thought I forgot..." stamp to put inside. I don't know where the month has gone. I have been having a lot of fun with the Crazy for cupcakes stamps. This is one of my workshop cards this month. I used the white chunky glitter and the Tombow multipurpose glue to make sprinkles on top of the cupcake. A little dab of crystal effects on the candle and that's it! A little bling is always good for your birthday!

Dreams Du Jour!

I guess I am on a butterfly kick right now! Not really sure why... But have you seen the new Baja Breeze classic ink? I used night of navy and baja blue together. This butterfly stamps so crisply on Whisper white paper! I am really enjoying the scallop edge punch it makes these edges so much easier!

So Glad We're Friends

The new Level 1 Hostess set "Best Yet" is one of my favorites. I never realized how much I loved these colors together until I saw the Bella Rose paper! This card uses the Wonderful You stamp set. If you like 2 step stampin' this is a fantastic set. I used the Stamp -a-ma Jig to position the images where I wanted them to go!

Hope Your Day is as happy as it gets!

I just love the butterfly sets I have. This one is The Flight of the Butterfly. The 5/8 grosgrain ribbon is so easy to work with. The designer series paper is from Bella Rose. I got this idea from Robin Merriman and Denise Jorgensen!

A Perfect Birthday Calendar!!

I had such a great time making this Birthday Calendar. The kit from our Holiday Mini Catalog made it SO easy to put together. I added a few stamped images from my Organic Outlines stamp set and it was a quick and easy project! I am hoping to be able to part with it as a gift but--I like it so much I may have to keep it!!

Welcome to my new Blog!!

This is my first post to my new blog. I am so glad you stopped by! I am looking forward to sharing my projects and ideas with you! This picture was taken recently at the Stampin' UP! Founders Circle Trip in St. George, Utah. It was my absolute honor to have my picture taken with two people who absolutely INSPIRE me!!-- Kimberly Van Diepen and Shelli Gardner!! This trip was just out of this world. It was one that I will never forget! If you are wondering about our location... All the rubber on this playground was donated by Stampin' UP!

I Wish Paper Bag Album!

Here are a few pictures of my latest paper bag album. It is truly a scrapbooking album without any stamping. I am not sure how that happened!! I think it is because there are so many YUMMY things in the I WISH Simply Scrappin' Kit that I just went crazy! With just a few punches and some dimensionals I had a blast!! I love these colors together, real red, old olive and chocolate chip. Very traditional colors! The thing I love most about the Christmas Paper Bag album is that it gives me a place to scrapbook all of my christmas cards that are photos. I always hate the thought of throwing away those beautiful photos. I love having a fun place to preserve these memories each year!
