New stamps new punches LOVE IT

I am so excited to share a little card I made this week. It is using my new products from the Occasions Mini catalog. The paper is called Walk in the Park and the stamp is Oval All. I love it when a stamp set has a matching punch! The punch is our new scallop oval Punch. Both the punch and the stamp set are part of Shelli's signature collection. I love her taste! I always forget how much I love basic Gray until I put it with pinks and blues. WOW it really comes alive. I made the flower with my new Big Shot Flower, Daisies#2. I really love an all white flower. So simple and elegant.
I used jumbo brads to hold together the daisy. I also used the Friends wheel with basic gray ink on whisper white paper. That wheel is so much fun. I have a special right now --if you order $40 in products from the Mini catalog you get a FREE STAMP under $10. Now that is a great bargain.

A Decorative Tiles Workshop

I had some fun ladies (and young women) here in the studio this week to make TILES!! We had a great time and I thought I would share their creations with you. If you have not tried making these tiles yet--you have to do it! They are beautiful gifts and easy to make! There is nothing I love more than girls stampin' with their MOMS!! To make the tiles stamp using Craft Ink. We inked up the stamps using sponge daubers. It is a lot easier this way to get several colors on the stamp. Then we covered the tiles with glassy glaze, tapped off the excess and popped them into the oven. A few minutes later wow-- beautiful tiles.

Flora and Fauna

My Incentive Trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, Thanks to Stampin' Up!

Reflections

I really felt like my trip to Hawaii was something you would see in of a scene from Gilligan's Island. It was just surreal. I was taken by the beauty all around me. While everyone was interested in seeing the volcano I found myself drawn to the rainforest and the lush green parts of the island. Here is a picture of Akaka Falls.

Make n-Take Box

I don't know why but I REALLY loved this as much if not MORE than my "pillow gifts". What a fantastic keepsake this is going to be. The little turtle is made out of a special wood that I believe is only found in Hawaii. I guess that's why it's my favorite. I have a real soft spot in my heart for turtle. I still miss our turtles Pebbie and Rufus. I hope they are enjoying their new freedom in Florida!

Pillow Gifts Galore

Every day Stampin' Up! rewarded us with the most amazing "pillow gifts". When we returned to our room this is what we found! It was so much fun!!

This cool gift is filled with lots of Hawaiian Goodies. When we woke up we proceeded to eat them one by one until they were all gone. Several thousand calories were consumed by all! Breakfast of champions :)

Aloha!

I wanted to share some of the wonderful Highlights of my trip to the Big Island of Hawaii. Stampin' Up! really spoiled us rotten and I have some really cool things to show you!
I thought I would start out with a breathtaking sunset standing at the front door of my hotel the Hilton Waikoloa.
