You've Outdone Yourself Again!

here's a little card that I put together for a recent workshop with some fun new friends in Alexandria! We had a great time. I used to live in Alexandria about 20 years ago and I just moved back to the area. It sure was fun to drive down the historic areas and remember how much I love the history here! Okay--back to my card! I used the Congratulations stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog for the sentiment. The paper is Lavendar Lace and Almost Amethyst and a little piece of Pink Pirouette paper. I stamped the Botanical Blooms stamp set with Staz-On and then stamped it again in Lavendar Lace and popped it up on a dimensional. I also used my scallop edge punch to make the bottom border. I love stamping lavendar lace ink onto the almost amethyst paper. Don't know why. It just makes me feel happy :)

With All My Heart!

I have been wanting to make a St. Patty's Day card for some reason. Nope not irish. Just in a happy go lucky mood! I used the small hearts from my Heart to Heart Punch with Garden Green Paper to create these tiny little hearts. I used 4 of them to make a Shamrock. I used the Polka Dot background stamp. I matted my images with Basic Black paper. I used my so swirly wheel on a piece of certainly celery paper. To make the stem and the sentiment I got out my Wonderful You stamp set. I can't wait to make a cute little box next. Stay tuned!

Felt like pulling out the Pretties Kit today!

Sometimes you just feel like busting out some bling! I haven't had time to use my Pretties Kit in a while and I just used a little bit of Classic ink. I first dyed the flower with an aqua painter using pumpkin pie ink. Then I went back and used a sponge dauber with more mustard ink just on the edges of the flower. You probably can't tell but I embossed the Botanical Blooms stamp set on the Kiwi Kiss layer to add a little bit of shine. I was using a color challenge and this is what I came up with. The colors are Kiwi Kiss, Pumpkin Pie and More mustard. I usually think of these as Fall colors so it was fun to use them for a "spring" time card. It finished it off with a little bit of Kiwi Kiss ribbon and a Button Latte.

Milk Carton ...Got Milk, Duds?

Can you guess what the Milk Carton is filled with? Milk Duds of course! Duh! Well it was filled but as usual I had to sample some before I really filled it up. What started out as a quiet day is now a little less quiet as one of my children is "sick". I say "sick" because I am not convinced.

I got this template from Stampin' Up! As a demonstrator I get access to lots of really fun templates! This is another sample of the Tea Party paper I have been telling you about . The Yummy stamp set has the cutest little sayings! I love these funky spring colors. I have missed them! I am so ready for Spring. I am just done with all this snow. Maybe thinking about it will help it arrive a bit sooner.

Fun with Box #2

I have been enjoying my new Tea Party Paper. Here is a little sample of the paper and a stamp from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set "Yummy". It is so much fun to quickly crank this box through the Big Shot. Makes 3-D boxes a breeze!

How did we ever survive before we had 5/8 Grosgrain ribbon?? If you have created with me you know I think everything is just a little bit cuter with ribbon.
